Jos made his curiosity to press buttons and see what happens into his profession and has been developing instrumentation and methods to measure interactions for three decades. The first decade at various universities; the second decade working at Biacore among others as lead system designer of the T200 and 8K systems; and the third decade at Ridgeview where he joined as CTO in 2013. Since 2020, Jos is taking care of the daily business as CEO. If not at work, Jos enjoys spending time in nature together with his family.

Sina is passionate about putting affinity values and kinetic binding constants into a biological context to explore their relation to functional properties. Leading the research on both the assay and data analysis side, she strives to develop new applications and advance understanding of results. She enjoys sharing her knowledge and learning from others through teaching and collaborative projects.

Karl is a problem-solver and entrepreneur involved in many successful businesses. Years ago, Karl run into a cumbersome manual assay that would require him to be in the lab all night. To solve this problem, LigandTracer was invented. Shortly after the company Ridgeview Instruments was born, now serving customers all over the world. Karl enjoys working in the intersection of mathematics, engineering and biology; a fruitful combination that has led to over 30 patent applications.

Anna always aims at pushing the quality of our products to a higher level by leading the development, management and quality control of our hardware products and consumables. She is the main person behind the development of our MultiDish 2×2 and the G2 detector series for LigandTracer Green.  By combining curiosity, engineering and biology Anna wants to improve the products and enable new applications.

Daniel is our software wizard who combines his skills as computational scientist with a solid background in molecular sciences and develops sturdy and user-friendly interaction models along with innovative software solutions. Daniel advocates for best software practices and data-driven approaches. With a natural touch, he effortlessly brings a friendly and approachable vibe to every project, turning interaction analysis into an exciting journey for all involved.

Maria has a creative mindset, offering fresh perspectives across technology and business. With a strong track record in application and product leadership, she drives strategic growth and innovation. Her experience spans R&D and commercial domains, including international market strategy and product development. Passionate about science and digital transformation, Maria fosters cross-functional collaboration to accelerate the delivery of new pharmaceuticals to market.

John is our lead programmer for TraceDrawer and LigandTracer Control since the very start. With two decades of experience from developing instrument and data analysis software for SPR- and cell-based instruments he ensures that all our software products meet customer needs.  John is a mechanical engineer by training, and he also tinkers with the mechanical side of our instruments and finds hardware solutions.

Hadis brings a rich international background in clinical and preclinical oncology, offering deep insight into the full journey from bench to bedside. With a particular focus on medical imaging and radiotherapy, she is dedicated to finding tailored solutions for each unique customer case. Her expertise bridges both scientific and commercial domains, enabling her to navigate complex challenges with clarity and precision.

Piero has many years of molecular laboratory experience and a degree in biotechnology. With his multitasking attitude and problem-solving driven approach, he takes care of different steps of the product production and development. From hardware building to experimental application and data analysis, there is no task he would not engage to enhance all the instrument capabilities.

Sara is an interdisciplinary researcher that finds most things interesting, regardless if it involves complex algebra, growing demanding cells or teaching. She joined the team after using LigandTracer in her PhD studies, which revolved around targeted radionuclide therapy and radiosensitization in cancer. With this background together with a degree in biotechnology engineering she is a strong asset to our application development team.

Guillermo is a pharmacist by training and researched on intracellular protein-RNA interactions as a postgraduate within the European ITN project RNAct. He is exploring completely new applications for our LigandTracer instruments and continuously pushing the limits of real-time interaction analysis with live organisms. As part of RNAct he collaborates with research groups all over Europe.

Hanna-Louise has a background in biotechnology and molecular life science. She enjoys working in the wet lab and has a keen eye for detail; a perfect combination to develop new protocols and applications for LigandTracer to broaden its usability even further.

Maria joined Ridgeview Instruments in February 2022 as accountant. Maria has been working with economy for over two decades and supported international life science businesses since 2017.

Viktoria is a social person who enjoys meeting new people, which makes her perfect for her role as sales representative. She is currently on a break from Ridgeview due to political commitment.

Nils-Fredrik has been part of Ridgeview from the early days, always with commercial focus. His current role is to provide advice and support to the sales team, and to be part of strategic planning in the company board.

Jennie is Senior Consultant at RegSmart Medtech AB, delivering strategic regulatory expertise to medical device and diagnostics companies. She has a proven track record guiding organizations through MDR and IVDR compliance, ISO 13485 certification, and product development. Jennie’s leadership spans board and management roles, supporting successful CE-marking initiatives. She holds a doctorate in pharmaceutical sciences from Uppsala University.

Staffan has longstanding experience from the health care area, from pharmaceuticals to medtech. Before joining Roche Diagnostics as Head of their global Diabetes Care business, he spent 20 years with Pharmacia in Uppsala in various global positions. Staffan also serves as a Board member at Facet Medicals LLC in Atlanta, Medicator AB, and Ridgeview Diagnostics AB.
